Hey gang,

This is nub central. Whatever doesn't seem to fit anywhere else can go in here. Feel free to post links to chalk articles that generally promote chalk art or tell us about the newest chalk related project going on in your life or direct us to your web site - ministry related or otherwise. As you know, nubs come in many shapes, sizes and colors.

I'll start...

If you haven't discovered the podcast for chalk artists, click on over to Chalked & Amazed! at http://www.ChalkedAndAmazed.com/ and take a listen to the internet's only "chalk radio" show. You will discover interviews with chalk artists, (let me know who you would like to hear), some free resources (downloadable), and a few other goodies. You may listen there or subscribe through iTunes. I will post alerts in this thread when new episodes are download ready.

Also, Chalked & Amazed has a companion site called Golden Chalk Classics. This archive site is dedicated to preserving and promoting the literature and history of chalk art. As I have time, I'll be scanning and posting old chalk art books for free download at that site. Currently, there are around 16 titles available. Hey, wanna help scan some old books for the benefit of the chalk art community? You will need Adobe Acrobat Standard (or Pro) and a flatbed scanner.

As new titles become available I'll post alerts somewhere here on The Chalk Loft. Probably under the topics titled Dusting Off the Past or Lightning Cartoon Stunts. Here's the link to Golden Chalk Classics: http://goldenchalkclassics.blogspot.com/

As always, have fun!
Kerry
