How to upload and insert images/photos in your posts.

Because chalk art is so visual, it is very helpful to SHOW us what you mean. "A picture is worth..."

Follow these steps to insert images into your posts:

1. Click New Post and the text editor box will open.

2. Along the top of the box is a series of buttons. Look for the Host an Image button:

Click this button and the SERVIMG upload box will open. SERVIMG service
a service like PhotoBucket or Picasa photo hosting services. If you are
a registered member of this forum then you automatically have an
account. When the box opens simply use the same email address and
password that you use for this forum).

4. Upload an image from your computer by browsing for the file. Then click the Host It button.

5. Several code options will be generated. Copy the bottom option called Image url. For some reason the Copy button is unpredictable so highlight the link and copy using the keyboard shortcut ctrl + c

6. Now, this link must be pasted in the Insert Image box. Again, along the top of the text editor box, look for the Image button which looks like this:

7. Click the button and a box will open where you paste the link you just copied (the keyboard short cut is ctrl + v).

8. Click OK and the image will appear in the text editor box wherever the cursor was placed.

If you want a second (or more) image click the Host an Image button again and then click Upload. This will clear the fields and allow you to upload another image.

I know this sounds complicated but try it a couple of times and you will see how easy it is. Really!
